About Me

Hiya! I'm Andy, a developer who's been building things with JavaScript since 2014. These days, I run my own company, → Code by Andy, LLC, where I specialize in web applications (primarily Next.js, but I'm also branching into Java and Python), AI integrations, and data pipelines. I'm passionate about building cool things with new tech! I'm currently playing around with Astro, Sanity CMS, and various AI tools.

I'm a proud Florida State grad (go Noles!) and am currently pursuing a second degree in Data Science at Arizona State (forks up!). My first degree was in IT, but I fell in love with data along the way: cleaning it, massaging it, understanding it, and telling stories with it. There's something deeply satisfying about turning messy data into meaningful insights.

When I'm not coding, you'll find me deep in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign (I both DM and play; currently running a Warforged Barbarian, though I usually gravitate toward ranged spellcasters), raiding in World of Warcraft (For the Alliance! Though I did main Horde for many years), or watching sports. I also enjoy going to concerts and spending quality time with my partner and our six cats, who have a knack for walking across my keyboard during important video calls.

I've lived in 7 states so far and will probably live in many more! I'm currently based between Toledo, Ohio and the San Francisco Bay Area. If you want to chat about a project, swap data stories, or just talk tech (or D&D), feel free to reach out!
